“Why?”

Why be a Christian? Why live for Jesus day by day? What’s our purpose here on planet earth? What’s our reason for existing? “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen (Ephesians 3:20,21). “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). If our purpose is anything but that of glorifying God, then we have the wrong purpose for living. Let’s glorify God in His church!

Tomorrow, we will look at How? Saturday, we will look at the question, When? If you need to return to the Lord or if you need to obey our Lord, don’t wait until tomorrow (II Corinthians 6:2)! Call us today, if we can help in anyway at 731-414-5092. We would love to study the Book of books with you. It answers the most important question, “What must I do to be saved?” Notice Mark 16:16; Acts 2:36-41; Revelation 2:10b. Love y’all and have a blessed day! That’s why we write these devos because each of you matter so very much to God and to us at Dorris Chapel! Tim
