“There Comes An Age Where You Don’t Care How You Look In Photos Anymore. You Just Want To Look Good In MRIs, Ultrasounds, and CT Scans (Jeff Foxworthy).”

Amen Jeff! I’m just glad I’m still alive to be in photos (LOL). Got an ultrasound coming up next week and praying all goes well. Waiting for the results isn’t all that easy because those of us who are older lack patience.

Notice these verses from God’s Word:

“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands eternal in the heavens” (II Corinthians 4:16- - 5:1).

“Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience, But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:3-5).

We are praying for all who are sick. Just thought it helps to laugh a little when it comes to getting old. “A merry heart heart doeth good like medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones” (Proverbs 17:22). If we can help in any way, please give us a call at 731-414-5092. Love y’all and have a blessed weekend, Tim

P.S. Don’t forget the Men’s Monthly Prayer Breakfast tomorrow at 9 A.M. at Trenton.
