“The Bible Is The Most Important Book In The World”
The Bible is the most important book in the world because it is the only book from God. Not only a book, but a collection of 66 books. 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. Let’s read and study it daily (I Timothy 4:13; II Timothy 2:15). Let’s obey and live it faithfully (James 1:21,22; Revelation 2:10b).
Let’s notice some verses from God’s Word on why it is so important: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). “Sanctify them through thy truth: the word is truth” (John 17:17). “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (II Timothy 3:16,17). “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).
The Bible is from God and is powerful unto salvation (Romans 1:16,17). We would love for you to come to our Wednesday Night Bible Classes tonight at 7 P.M. We will be studying the Book of books.
