“Qualities Of Being A True Friend”

We love our friends at Dorris Chapel. That’s why we are having a “Bring A Friend Day” tomorrow. We invite you to come. We are having a meal for you following our morning worship. Come sit with us and be our guest. What are some qualities of being a true friend?

1) “A friend loved at all times” (Proverbs 17:17).

2) “A man who has friends must show himself friendly” (Proverbs 18:24a).

3) “…Sticks closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24b).

4) A true friend encourages us (Proverbs 27:9).

5) A true friend has a good influence (Proverbs 27:17).

6) A true friend has compassion (John 11:11,35).

7) A true friend will even die for you (John 15:13).

These are seven qualities of a true friend. In our devo tomorrow we will notice, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus.” We would love to see you in Sunday School at 10 A.M. We will worship at 11 A.M. Our worship will be followed with a fellowship meal. We will host the Gibson County Second Sunday Singing at 2 P.M. Our young people will play kick ball at Yorkville Park at 5 P.M.
