“Good Neighbor Day”

May 16, 2026 · Tim Fuqua

Today is “Good Neighbor Day.” The goal of this group is to have 250 million acts of kindness today. This goal starts with one. Let’s all make a lasting impact today on someone’s life with a simple act of kindness. Not only today, but every day let’s look to be good to our neighbors by simple acts of kindness.

Our Lord taught us in the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) that everyone is our neighbor. It doesn’t matter about their color or nationality. The Good Samaritan helped the person in need. Jesus says at the end of this great parable, “Go, and do thou likewise.” Let’s go out every day and practice being a good neighbor to all. Love y’all and if we can be of help give us a call at 731-414-5092, Tim
