“Good Friends Make Us More Like Jesus, But Ungodly Friends Starve Our Hunger For God And His Word.”

May 29, 2026 · Tim Fuqua

Let’s be thankful for our good and godly friends. They are priceless. Let’s always be so very careful in choosing our friends and let’s be the kind of friend God would have us to be (I Corinthians 11:1). Wise Solomon had much to say about being a good friend (Proverbs 17:17; Proverbs 18:24; Proverbs 27:9,10; Proverbs 27:17). The apostle Paul wrote, “…Evil companionship corrupt good morals” (I Corinthians 15:33 ASV). Let’s help our friends to go to heaven by living the way God would have us to live (Philippians 1:27; Philippians 2:15). If we can help in anyway, please don’t hesitate to call us at 731-414-5092. Love y’all and have a blessed Friday, Tim
