“Get The Big Picture” (Part 9)

The first sin is found in Genesis 3:1-5. Notice the lies Satan tells Eve. Brother Marshall Keeble use to say, “Do you know when Satan lies? When he opens his mouth.” Our Lord said in John 8:44, “…When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Let’s be careful when we listen to Satan because we know he is going to tell us a lie. Jesus tells us that the truth will set us free (John 8:32) and that truth is God’s Word (John 17:17). Let’s believe and obey the truth (John 8:24; Hebrews 5:8,9).
