“Get The Big Picture” (Part 27)
(Moses Reaction To The Golden Calf Worship)
Moses became angry and threw down the tables of stone and broke them because of Israel worshipping the golden calf (Exodus 32:19). These tables of stone were given to Moses and written with the finger of God (Exodus 31:18). Moses then burnt the golden calf and ground it it into powder. Then he put the powder into the water and made Israel drink of it (Exodus 32:20). Moses then confronts his brother Aaron (Exodus 32:21-24). After all of this, then Moses pled for Israel (Exodus 32:30-35). Then God told Moses to hew out two more tables of stone and God wrote again on these new tables of stone (Exodus 34:1).
