“Fruit Full” (Part Eight) “Full Of Faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22,23)
Notice the incredible statement from our Lord about His cousin, John the Baptist (Matthew 11:11). When we read all that there is is to say about John the Baptist, there is a loyalty and faithfulness to Jesus. This faithfulness defined his life.
I. John Was Faithful When Things Were Good (Matthew 3:1-11) - John pointed the world to Jesus and we must too (Acts 20:20).
II. John Was Faithful When Things Were Changing (John 3:22-36) And We Must Too (Ephesians 3:20,21).
III. John Was Faithful When Things Were Hard (Matthew 11:1-19) And We Should Be Too (Revelation 2:10).
Let’s be full of faithfulness throughout our lives. Our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom. Let’s be thankful for the many freedoms we enjoy in our wonderful country. One of which is the freedom of religion. We need to be thankful to be able to worship in spirit and in truth. We hope to see y’all tomorrow and we are so very thankful for those who have protected our freedoms. Many of them gave their lives to allow us to continue to be free. Most of all we are thankful for the freedom we have in Christ! We are thankful that our Lord gave His life that we might have the abundant life (John 10:10). Happy Fourth of July, Tim
P.S. Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. My wife made me some chess pie squares and we celebrated number 67.
